Home with the new arrival

We came home on Tuesday and are getting used to life with two babies. Having a newborn is easier the second time around. Madeline is adjusting ok. That is the hardest part, Madeline. She has a hard time understanding what gentle means and using her inside voice. She is so sweet to him, kisses and hugs him constantly. Jackson is a great baby, hardly ever cries. Madeline was a good baby also. We are blessed with great babies, then they turn two! We have had dinner brought to us every night so far, which is the best thing EVER!!!!! Stephen is at home for 2 weeks, he is very helpful. It is now Saturday, and we are bored. I feel fine, except for some engorgement and fatigue. So what will we do next week? Who knows? For now here are updated pictures...........

Everyone is doing fine

Still going... Nothing outlast a Borders birth

The princess has given up on her "natural" childbirth attempt and decided to go with the epidural. Our hopes of a quicker labor without an epidural were lost when we only went from 2.5cm to 3.5 in 5 hours. We are now dosed with Pitocin, and fentanyl/marcaine to speed and make the labor somewhat bearable.
It hasn't worked. Labor is still slow, nausea and numbness have replaced the pain and Beth is regretting every decision that got us to this point.
Lucky for me Jean brought doughnuts. Beth is mad because she can't have any.
Finally after playing with her blood pressure and becoming a little accustomed to her epidural Beth has decided to get a little more sleep. Now the only problem is Beth continues to have conversations, mostly with herself, and we can't tell when she needs something or is just sleep talking.

Arrival of the tax deduction

We have made it to the hospital and Beth has convinced the Doctor that it is in his best interest to keep her here unitl this baby comes. It is 2AM we are 2.5cm dilated and I am 2 tired to keep this up all night. Beth is determined to make this one come sooner than 18hrs, but we will see as he is still a Borders and bound to do things in his own time.

Tangled in her wires trying to potty.

This definitely means something I'm sure.
