Christmas Time is Here

We all seem to be ready and in good spirits at the Borders house. Well, mostly good anyway. Beth is in full pregnancy sickness lasting 23.5 hours a day. She is doing her best to smile and vomit quitely. God bless her.

She erased the picture of her that I thought was very good. She on the other hand believes she is fat and miserable and does not want anyone to see her.

Here we go again

For those of you who don't know God has decided to bless us already with one child. Madeline has done her best to challenge and strengthen us and give us just enough joy when we are ready to give up parenting. Well, we must be meeting expectations or need more training because last week the stick came up with 2 pink lines again. I guess God has made the decision to give us another try. This one is sure to be boy.
As Beth is taking the nausea like a champ, (well not really like a champ, but she is talking about it less this time) I am trying to go over all the expenses that the last one cost us. One day I will learn that not only are we better off than a lot of people, but God has never let the lights or the gas get turned off. Sometimes I forget.
I am determined that this child is going to make me grow up.

They did it! Jonathan and Sara are married and the wedding was great. The only problem is now Madeline has a boyfriend. Time to clean the shotgun.

We finally got a day to getr rid of the swamp in the back yard. It was a messy job, so Madeline wanted to help. Miss Madeline thought that playing in the mud was the best thing ever. Even Anna thought it would be fun to dig in the mud. The only one I could not find was Beth. I am sure she was there, cause she wouldn't miss getting dirty. Thanks to Gran and Papa for the help!

Catching up

It's been way too long since the last post, but now is not the time catch up. Right now if I can just get some current pics up, that will do. I will try to recap the missing 10 months on the next post. For now enjoy the time warp and the growing child.

Mad's 1st Birthday

Well Madeline made it through her 1st Birthday and she loved it. I had a good long post but somehting happened and it erased and I just can't do it again. Maybe next time.

The Holidays are over and they were the usual whirlwind that blows through our life filling our schedule and redecorating everything. Madeline decided early she loves everything about Christmas, especially the shiny fragile orniments. Beth enjoyed getting a break from school and filled her days naps with the baby and working at Cartersville ER. I truly enjoyed all the socializing and all the great food. My dreams came true when Beth took out the cookbooks and took on all types of new receipes showing how much of a southern wife she is. Overall it was a wonderful christmas and somehow God even helped the financial ends meet.
